Vames Wang Sosa Hood, Injury Lawyers
Veteran-Owned

Built by people who served.

Two of the partners who lead this firm wore the uniform before they ever walked into a courtroom. The discipline, the chain of command, and the habit of finishing what you start did not stay in the service. They run through everything we do for our clients.

The partners of Vames Wang Sosa Hood, a veteran-owned Oregon law firm

U.S. Army

Drake Hood

Partner

A veteran of the United States Army, Drake has spent much of his adult life inside one form of public service or another. After nearly thirty years in the courtroom, he still serves as an unpaid Judge Pro Tempore on the Washington County Circuit Court. The bench work is a continuation of the same instinct: show up where you are needed and do the work.

U.S. Army National Guard

Emery Wang

Founder and Managing Partner

Emery served six years in the U.S. Army National Guard. The Guard taught him to operate under pressure, to follow a chain of command and to lead one, and to keep going through tasks that seem to have no end. Each of those skills carries directly into running cases and building the firm he founded in 2013.

Why it matters for your case.

Insurance companies count on people giving up. They delay, they nitpick, and they wait for the other side to get tired. Service teaches the opposite habit. You finish the mission. You do not leave it half done because it got hard in the middle.

It also means this firm understands veterans as clients. If you served and you were injured, you will be working with attorneys who know the language, the culture, and what the commitment actually asked of you.
